While cleaning up my writing drafts on Medium, I found an article that may be helpful for some people who applied for a Market Data Analyst position at Bloomberg.

The position I applied for was a 2020 Market Data Analyst position in Korea. Please keep in mind that the interview process can be different from region to region. The whole process took 3 weeks.

Interview Process:

  1. Plum Assessment
  2. Pre-recorded Video Interview
  3. Phone Interview with HR
  4. Interview Preparation Conference Call with HR
  5. In-person/Video Interview with Two Team Leads
  6. Final Interview with a Program Manager

1. Plum Assessment (25 Minutes)

The first thing you will do after submitting your application is to take a plum assessment. Plum assessment is a pre-employment assessment that helps the company measure a variety of qualities such as problem-solving abilities and social intelligence. It takes about 25 minutes. The link for the assessment expires in 72 hours.
